Re: The next 1/48 scale bomber.

I'm not placing a vote as I only have a few 1/48 and they are all fighters. 1/48 bombers would take up room that I would rather place a couple 1/72 or a 1/32 aircraft in. Good list though, tough to pick just one.

Where's the B-10? Or even better - the B-5!

Re: The next 1/48 scale bomber.

I'm not a big fan of bombers, more focussed on fighters.
But if I have to choose a bomber for 1:48 scale, then I would go for the Lancaster over the Ju-88.

Re: The next 1/48 scale bomber.

I voted for the Douglas A-20. The A-20 is probably the most overlooked attack bomber of WWII.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

The Martin B-10 got a bit of WWII service with the Chinese and with the Dutch in the east indies but did not fare very well. The B-5 was a bi-wing bomber that I don't think saw any action ....

...I think the B-10 would be a great addition to the transitional 1930's group of aircraft that HM seems to be interested in. There is one existing example in the Wright Patterson Museum in Dayton Ohio. .

If your score a kill and lose your wingman you have lost the battle.

Re: The next 1/48 scale bomber.

The problem here is that there are no WW I bombers listed. I don't want ANY WW II bombers in 1:48 scale, but WW I bombers in 1:48 scale............now we're talkin'!

Would not mind having one of the Dutch B-10s with the longer green house.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: The next 1/48 scale bomber.

No four engine bombers in this scale for me...
The Wellington has a slight edge over the Ju88.

But if the Do17 was an option in this poll...

Can we try with real bullets now?
