Diecast and RC store in Seattle, WA

Hi, going for a short trip to Seattle later next month. And I am wondering if there is any good diecast store there? Also any good rc store. I am just going over and staying for 1 day, hitching a ride with my sister who is a flight attendant at SAS (cheap flight).

Also have planes on getting TFM to send some stuff to the hotel (no tax (25%) when i bring it inn to Norway my self) Only problem is space in my luggage, cant fit to many planes in there. But I going to try like hell to fill it up My sister is going to be pissed of when she sees witch suitcase I will take with me, the biggest Samsonite I have ever seen.

If any store has a web page please give me address, thanks for all help.

Planebeach, you should really try to spend at least a day (or more) at the Museum of Flight in Seattle : http://www.museumofflight.org/Portal.asp?Flash=True

Actually, that's not that funny. I was TDY to Tucson for about 4 days, and found some diecast cars I wanted (I collect Hot Wheels/Matchbox too). I took them out of their packages, and wrapped them up in my socks. I was jacked up by Airport Security for 30 minutes while they searched my luggage for "unidentifiable metal objects".

Okay, it IS funny, but it wasn't at the time.

First do as Cardinal suggested and be sure to hit the Boeing Museum of Flight if you have not previously. It is superb!

I am a former resident of Seattle until I moved here to Portland for my job 3 yrs ago. I miss that town! I am unaware of any serious shop in our realm of collecting. American Eagles was/is the premier military model shop in the area and probably has some, but they never seemed to have much.

Now down here in Portland (3 hrs drive south of Seattle) is Perry Aircraft. That place, while a bit cluttered is a treasure trove of diecast! He needs a bigger shop though.

I believe the Museum of Flight has probably the largest selection of diecast aircraft in the region. Lots of Corgi, Armour and Carousel I.

Now on the way to Seattle. Right now I am at 32000 feet above Davis Strait between Greenland and Canada. Must love this inflight internett service
