Can we sack this thing? Seems unecessary.

It is somewhat necessary as it is one of the little add-ons that helps contribute to the forum.

Re: Ebay web crawler

there's another thread about it -- I think it just needs it's own home... all webcrawler image posts should go in their own spot, rather than the pictures categorey for example as the sheer quantitity makes it impossible to browse the thread. Gavin said he would work on it already though and was just testing some things out.

Naw, I'm not talking about the one with the pictures Captain. I don't mind that. Actually, since Harry explained that Ebay pays to have the crawler, which helps the forum, I'll pipe down I guess.

Re: Ebay web crawler

The one thing that really bothers we is that an entry from the Web Crawler is almost always shown as the the last post post in the Market Place section.

I did talk to Gavin about this at one time because I thought it was a nuisance and he explained his reasons for having it. I just try and ignore it now.....

Sounds like I may be missing something (and that might be a GOOD thing!) But, out of curiosity, what ARE ya referrin' to, parsig?
