| Panther tank, interesting photo Have seen numerous pictures of tanks blown upside down but not this one until now. Looks perfectly balanced on turret and I don't see any signs of damage. | |||||||||||||

The jerry's were in ther middle of swapping the batteries out and got scared off by a plane., This is perfectly normal for these tanks. If you look closely enough you can just see the on/off switch. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Panther tank, interesting photo I recall reading that jug pilots would try to "bounce" their .50 cals up under tanks during straffing runs. If they managed to set a 5 inch rocket under this tank, would it flip it? | |||||||||||||
