Re: Any woman members on the Modle Hangar ?

OH dear, this is the moment we all dread, the little lady asking probing questions !!

Somehow JP you had better find a way to wriggle off the hook.

This could have a domino effect, it is fortunate that our ladies live well apart from each other.
It would not do for them all to meet up and start comparing notes.

Methinks Cardo is safe down under but as for the rest of us ?????????????????????????????????

In answer to your question JP, I have never met a woman that is in anyway interested in diecast, indeed Lorraine is the only woman I know that likes airshows.

Stay safe buddy, maybe you should take your good lady out and buy her a very expensive meal.
Divert her attention so to speak.

Best of luck buddy.

God Bless America.

So I guess the answer to the original question is a resounding "NO"?!?!?......

....meanwhile on another TMH Forum (The Macrame Hotties Forum) the opposite question is also being answered with a resounding "NO"........I hope!

We need more women in diecasts. Then they can talk your spouses into letting you buy all the warbirds and armor you want, if you have room or it or not.

Re: Any woman members on the Modle Hangar ?

By the way, I've been meaning to ask....what is the "Modle Hanger"? As the second word is Hanger, I figure it might have something to do with clothes???

Re: Any woman members on the Model Hangar ?

Normally, when my old lady starts asking me how much I spent on a particular plane, it tells me she is looking to rationalize a future purchase of some item for herself, or a past item that she knows I am about to find out about.

My wife is supportive of my hobby since she knows I buy most of my planes on sale (TM Sales)and I still spent less than she does most of the times on shoes and stuff.

My hobbies, Diecast and online aircombat sims, keep me home most of the time with her instead of out drinking and chasing skirts or something and she appreciates that because she has friends who's husbands do the latter.

So, in a nutshell, I almost never have to face "The Spanish Inquisition" from the wife regarding my diecast purchases.
