Re: a sad day today

thank you to you all. We talk to each other nearly every day and I wanted to share both joy and sorrow with you as we are a family of sorts. I also hope to share in your highs and lows. You are good guys and I hope we all stay in touch on this board. It makes our world a little smaller doesn't it. God bless you all.

I still have both my parents and I don't look forward to the day either of them go....I empathise with you for your loss.

Re: a sad day today

Dear Louie,

My condolences to you and yours.

I was thirty-four years old when my mother lay dying in hospital from incurable cancer. The last time I saw her, I tried to start what I wanted to say with " Mother..."; I knew that it would be the last time that I would ever see her. I opened my mouth to speak and out came " Mummy,..."; I was thrown back in time and I was five years old.

Those ties which bind us to our mothers never fall away.

Re: a sad day today

I'm so sorry to hear this news, Louie. My wife and I send our condolences to you and your family at this difficult time.

I lost my father when I was seven. Amongst the times I was really hit hard in missing him was when I got married, and when we had children. It is sad that your dear Mother will miss your little one.

You and yours will be in our prayers.
