This one's funny... ebay tale...

So, I was watching several FM auctions on bay from one seller that was also selling a bunch of what look like pre-pro samples. He listed a B-25 I'd been interested in (hell's bells) and called it a Special Edition. I was not aware of a Spec Edition so I emailed to ask what was special about it.

He replied that it was just rare to see on ebay is all....

So I said, "Well, that's a bit deceptive to describe that way if it's a standard release, may be why no one's bidding on it as they are confused...." I was nice.

This is his reply... wait for it...

hey inspector gadget, what are you the internet police. I CAN SAY WHATEVER I GOD DAMB WANT TO, ITS MY AUCTION AND IN MY OPINION, SO GO TELL YOUR MOMMY OR EBAY.. your officially banned from bidding on my auctions, I have learned about jerkoffs like you and don't want the hassle, go bug someone else.

Needless to say, I won't be bidding on any of his auctions... he needn't bother with a "ban". sheesh. Jerkoffs like me that want to know what they are bidding on I suppose.... He should know better than to turn away a customer like me -- at the current rate I'm going this week I could have put his kids through college

Hey Pappy, that's insane! I saw those auctions but there wasn't much I was in to so I just let it go sort of thinking, whatever.

What an incredible response. I "bug" some aircraft sellers too about stuff i know is bogus or wring too but more to make sure and correct it incase I want it or one of "us" might. He just lost 100s of potential customers by treating you like a moron.
WOW!

Yeah this guy does not have these in stock. He is a third party and using Classic Closeouts as his warehouse.
I bis on 5 P-51's from him because the Mint was out of these, he came back and said he was short 1 and shipped the rest . They came from Closeouts with their packing slip and shipped FREE to me. But he charged me shipping.. Interesting business?

Probably, I don't want to call 'em out -- he might show up on my doorstep with a shotgun

Shouldn't bee too hard to figure it out though -- several "one of a kind" FM pre-pros...

Well at least he's not calling a "super rare Special Edition signed exclusive"

True, but he is making a healthy profit...

Sorry about the Hi-jack Pappy, but when I was looking for your joker, I came across one of my own.

Funny Ebayers, fun for us, but unfortunate for those that don't know.

Personally, I love the misspelling of his profanity, he must be "DAMB" dumb!!
