Re: Buyer beware on EBAY

Hey, who knows, maybe she has a massive collection at home and lurks in this forum...

It'd be just my luck so she can beat me to every deal posted here too........

Re: Buyer beware on EBAY

Well, Pappy, it STILL states 1:72. Am I to assume this is an easy thing to fix?

No, I don't think it is easy -- once bids have been placed there are limits to what revisions you can make. He may have to notify all bidders and close the auctions and start again...

Seller can still place a comment to clear this up, even after item has been bid on.

Right but he can't alter the listing itself.

He could have chosen to display your comment on the posting, including his answer, but he chose not to... Just a crook!

Re: Buyer beware on EBAY

I just saw that this guy is now listing this plane for $3.99.

I can only assume he realized his error, and most likely told the bidders what the error was and allowed them to cancel the deal. And now he has it listed at a more realistic price.
