I think the museum director should be fired, and made to pay restitution.

WHAT A JERK! I agree with Captain - this guy should be fired, charged and made to pay restitution. Even if he is an expert and the diorama was inaccurate, he should have had more patience and understanding especially working with kids who are interested in learning. Help them learn! Shame on you Mr. Hunt!

Should be charged criminally but probably cannot since it was museum property.

The least he could of done was send it back to them since they built it...So many hours and labor of love
put into that great looking diorama.....
