Greetings to all! Lots of die-cast collectors in the States will soon be receiving their "Economic Stimulus" check (emphasis on quote marks)shortly. Besides helping to tackle our run-away fuel and grocery situations,perhaps we can ALL help our favorite die-cast manufacturer with a purchase or two? Thats my plan as a good "stimulator". Could certainly help our quiet makers like Carousel1 and Marushin to come up with some new stuff. What say Y'all?

Sounds like a great idea. I'm thinking of pre ordering an F3F, buying a C1 Pearl P-40 and an HM Invasion Strip Spit for a B-day gift.

CavTanker,I think most of their investment involves US affiliates/properties,so I'm O.K. with that If had a top notch manufacturer stateside I would consider that angle for sure,but I don't believe it will occur anytime in the near future.About 50 years ago,my Dad,a CBI VET,(OSS) discussedhis opinion that given a bit of time and a slight "MELLOWING" in Chinese ideology,that nation would ermerge as a world leader as it was four thousand years ago,only this time by economics,not arms.Seems Pop was correct! Its good stuff!,even high end CMC auto models are done there. Our generation is living through a true globalization process and I think the outcome will be just fine. Best Autos produce,fuel,TVs,all originate overseas. To stimulate our OWN economy,we have the following made in America items: Beer,cigarettes,and prostitutes: I can't drink alcoholl any longer for mental health issues,lungs are diseased so i can't enjoy a smoke,and these would be MINOR issues if my BabyDoll of 40yrs found out I was investing in"-- - ssy". Of course there IS the "YardSale" but I have junk to sell,not invest in! ,Please buy a Carousel1 aircraft and feel good! It's official: Got my stimulus check today, called Wings and Wheels and ordered 3 planes, 2 for me, 1 as a gift for a new collector.
