Re: WW II Planes Not Rendered In Diecast Yet

CC, some of the ones you mentioned have already been done. Specifically, I have an Atlas DB-3 ( IL-40) and SB-2. As for others, the list is almost endless. For example, there's the Kingfisher , Yak-1/7, Yak-4, SU-2 ,Latecoere 298, Breguet 691, Fokker G-1, Avia B.534, Walrus, Seagull, Ikarus IK-2 and 3, Wirraway, Ro.-37 and 43, ME-323, Babs, Thalia, Topsy, Mary, Ann, Paul, etc. etc.

My real question is this. Will any of the planes nobody has done ever grace our diecast display shelves? And if so, which ones do you think stand a chance?

I modified HM Harvard/Texan could become a Wirraway??? New tail fin/rudder, cowl with guns etc.

Cheers CKS1.

I think it would be neat if HM could modify their T-6 to a CAC Wirraway. I would pick one up for sure.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

These are some awesome list but don't forget about America's first jet, the P-59 Aircomet. we already have early british and german jets (Meteor, Vampire, Me 262, Salamander). How about an early American jet now.

1/72 is the MASTER scale!

Thumbs up Re: WW II Planes Not Rendered In Diecast Yet

Great Britian:- Whiltley; Stirling; Manchester; Maryland; Anson; Beaufort; Dominie; Oxford; Master; Martinet; Magister; Walrus; Sea Otter; Whirlwind; Auster; Gloster Whittle jet; Meteor Mk 3.

I'll take one of those, too, thank you -- except for the Meteor -- I'd prefer a Mk I.

Re: WW II Planes Not Rendered In Diecast Yet

Here are the ones I'd be drooling over:

1:72
B-32 Dominator
B-29 Superfortress
A-20 Havoc
Navy version of the Liberator with all of the gun positions.
