Pill box at the side of the track near the tower.

The quality of the photos seems to get worse when I rotate the photos , sorry guys I dont think there is a way around this.

The track onto the airfield with the tower just hiding behind the trees.

Top photo shows the sign to say where the troops training area ends, the army use the area around Bodney for training.
Lower photo shows a building near the tower, I have no idea what it was used for.

Well , a rainy day , poor light and a $4.00 camera, thats the best I could do.
If you look at the photo with the white truck in it you can just see Lorraine under her little red brolly!
Bless her she is very patient with me.

I have decided that I must revisit Bodney and take my digital camera and retake all the photos.
I shall go back after the Legends show at Duxford in July, maybe the weather will be kinder then, I can at least show you some better quality photos then and I hope to arrange a full afternoon and tour the whole of the site.
There are some buildings just down the road still intact that I missed so I need to check out those.

After seeing these....It's going to be on my list to vist......I have got to see this place and the pictures are great.
Thanks for showing us these pictures....How far is the "Bodney today" the bunks that are newer as you called it from the old Tower ?
