Re: Whats Your Favorite WWII aircraft

Fighters:

1. Corsair
2. FW 190
3. Spitfire
4. Hellcat
5. P- 38

(My top 3 favorite fighters is pretty stable. TODAY the Hellcat and P-38 make the top five, tomorrow it could change again with the following 4 "in-and-out" of my top 5: P-47D; P-40; P-51; Hurricane)

Bombers:

1. Dauntless
2. Mosquito
3. B-25
4. B-17
5. B-24

(If the question asked for 6, then I would have to put the Hawker Typhoon "tank buster" in here as well.....but not sure if you would classify the Typhoon as a "bomber.")
