| Interesting cold war topping model Martin B-61 Matador I wasn't sure where to put this only because I'm not posting it for the auction, rather to discuss the model. Mods forgive me if this is the wrong place. I found this cold war ear topping model of a Martin B-61 Matador on the bay. Never seen one like this before, does anybody know the history on this weapon? I always find these topping models interesting, sure they dont have the detail of our modern diecast but they have lots of history due to the fact most of these were given to military personnel or people that worked in the defense industry. | Re: Interesting cold war topping model Martin B-61 Matador I would goggle Matador...also try its replacement Mace. Both were deployed to Okinawa and Germany. Many of the R&D and operational flights were conducted at Cape Canaveral so google the Cape also. | |||||||||||||
