Re: Why no civilian diecast (other than jetliners)?

Well, a 1/48 Boeing 747/400 would be impressive hence worth buying!

On the other hand, I'd like a Dassault Falcon 2000 in 1/48.

Re: Why no civilian diecast (other than jetliners)?

I've always been a fan of sleek civilian aircraft such as the Beechraft Duke and Baron, or the Cessna 310 and 420. I also like the lines of the propjets that regional carriers use such as the Beechcraft 19, the Dash 8, Saab 340, and EMB120. Not to mention the airshow performers such as the Pitts Special, Sukhoi, Christain Eagle, and other aerobatic planes I can't think of right now. I realize the 1/400 jet market is available, but why no examples in any scale of the aforementioned types? Would any of you diecast collecters be interested in any of these? I sure would. A 1/72 King Air would look great! Does anyone know of any of these types either in prebuilt or kit form? Just wondering.....

I would love to this one done in diecast!
