Illegally parked Mig-21?

No one seems to care. (Source)

So what else can you meet on streets of ex-USSR?

For example in Moldova, the ex Soviet Moldavia, you can see sometimes old jet fighters standing on a pedestrian lane.

And passers-by don’t express much interest in it.

Wait a sec, that tailnumber (nosenumber?) looks familiar...

Whew, that would've been something.

Re: Illegally parked Mig-21?

Talk about Gas-guzzler's, I think this wouldn't be great to commute to work. But on the other hand, if there is a traffic jam, a few presses on the red button would take care of that. And you can park where you want too, including the space the kiss-butt goober that got "employee of the month" again with the great parking space up front....

Pilot must have been that desperate for a drink!

Heard he was drinking "B-52's". Valet parking would be fun for that puppy. Might not come back for awhile though, if ever....

Just another Mig left by a defecting Russian Pilot.

Or maybe it just fell off a truck and will be stripped for parts within the hour.

Good one.

It's funny that whoever put it there took the time to chock the wheels.
I wish I knew the story behind this.

There are some strange pictures at the site I got this from, English Russia.

Thanks for the link. Some of them are really funny like the "Modern Russian Cusine:the Starters". Sliced onions, a glass of water with drak bread and raw fatback or bacon. Now that will get ya hungry. And for the "Home Networks", looks like we out-sourced Tim Allen for that one. The new Verizon Network system. Can you hear me now???
