I've never seen any of these Targa tank models. Any opinions on them?

Howdy, I bought the one that came in the German grey paint scheme since I could not find the camouflaged version in Singapore. I got it since it was the only affordably priced Tiger that shows the tank interior. (The ones by Figarti are way too expensive for me.) Personally, I consider it a good addition to my small Tiger tank collection.

On the downside, I thought Targa could have done a better job with the interior detailing. For instance, the painting on parts of the turret interior were a wee bit uneven, especially around the edges. The paintwork on the crew's faces and uniforms also left much to be desired. The two red fuel tanks at the rear of the tank looked plasticky to me. On the other hand, the exterior paintwork is nicely done, as is the 88mm ammo.

One other point to note. I had a lot of trouble putting the tracks on the wheels. Somehow, the tracks seemed rather tight and I had to stretch them quite a bit before it sat nicely around the wheels.

At S$70 (or about US$50), I felt that it was a little overpriced considering it's all-plastic construction. I'll put up some pictures when I get the chance. Cheerio!

You can see some nice close-up photos of Figarti's Tigers on its website figarti.com. It costs almost US$300 each.
