Has anyone ever purchased from wingsandwheel.com
If so, would you recommend them?

Re: recommend Wingsandwheels?

Hi there dragon. I've bought from them a couple of times in the past year. No problems I'm aware of. Things got here quickly and safe. Prices are comparable to other on-line stores.

Re: recommend Wingsandwheels?

I bought from them one time, they did not have all the items in stock, shipped what they had and billed me the same shipping as if it was a full order so I never went back.

You cant lose with the Mule or an Ebay, guy I buy from , cant remember his ID though daytons767 or something like that , has an Ebay store and auctions.

Good luck

Biggie

Re: recommend Wingsandwheels?

I've ordered a couple of times. He will beat pricing of other vendors. Packaged well. I can recommend.

Re: recommend Wingsandwheels?

I just received a Mig-17 from him last week.....after ordering it back in January! I had to call him twice to inquire (in two months) which should tell you that I'm normally not a very demanding (when it comes to getting my items) type of person but it started getting ridiculous. I understand that he had problems getting the plane from his supplier but it should not take over two months! I'm still a little p'd off b/c all he offered me was 15% off my next purchase....big whoop, I could've just bought from someone else and saved the hassles.

Okay, rant over but you asked.....and I'm glad you did!!!! Just my $.02, take it for what it's worth.

Re: recommend Wingsandwheels?

I've bought from him and he was fantastic. FWIW he's a WWII vet, a mechanic on Pacific B-24's.

Don't you think you're a bit hasty in deciding not to order from W&W...but I do respect your decision. I have ordered from W&W only about 20 times and NOT a single
transaction ever went south or turned sour in my overall experience.

Thumbs up Re: recommend Wingsandwheels?

Well for what it's worth, I buy all my diecast planes from him exclusively. FM, Corgi, CW, C1, HM. I never had a problem. I know other guys say they have had problems, but I know Carl, and he will make good on any mistakes that can happen, from time to time. He also will beat anyone's price, if you ask him.

So Dragon53, what can you lose?
