Is this a waste of Taxpayer money?? I think not!!

TMZ has an article saying that one of the Bachelor idiots (who is also in the Navy, serving on the POW/MIA recovery team) is on a mission wasting taxpayer money. What say you? BTW, I'm respondant #644

I cannot vote because I am a Brit, but my humble opinion is that we should do all we can to bring our heroes home.

Thumbs up Re: Is this a waste of Taxpayer money?? I think not!!

So far 92,000 people have voted. 48% think that it's a waste of money while 52% think that the money is well spent.

I voted Jim............so can you. You don't have to be an American tax-payer to have an opinion.

Money well spent !

Re: Is this a waste of Taxpayer money?? I think not!!

The military, and by logical extension, the people and government that send a person into combat have a responsibility to recover their remains, seeing as how the combatant gave their lives for the interest of the state. It saddens me that anyone would think otherwise.

I voted "NO". As others have stated, it is the responsibility of our country to do everything we possibly can to bring home our solders. Hopefully they will come home alive, but no matter what, we should never give up trying to find those who are missing.

Re: Is this a waste of Taxpayer money?? I think not!!

Personally, I think the article is poorly written, biased and incomplete. (No, I'm not a leftwing media bias guy. I like the press.)

The article is a bigger waste of space and energy than the efforts of the U.S. Military in bringing back MIA's. There are a LOT of things our military shouldn't be doing, but I don't think this is one of them.

Anything for a weird life.

Jim cause you can vote - I'm a Brit but still paying taxes here - I'm paying enough taxes here for both of us!!!!

That article was callous and ignorant to the extreme (No matter whether you agree with any current overseas adventure or not). The guy's should be found and given a funeral with the honor they deserve. In the grand deficit $54 mill is nothing - just look how much they've just spent to prop-up some fat cat bankers last week for getting into trouble falling asleep at the wheel.

I wish my country would spend some of it's resources on doing a similar mission. I still have several long lost relatives somewhere in a field in France.

Ooops!
