I sold my first bike just a few months ago, an 89 Suzuki Katana, to get a new riding lawnmower.

There were family and lack of riding partners issues too but I do miss it. Not to many 19 year old cafe bikes around anymore.

Maybe someday again....

I feel for you, I know what you are and will be going through. The one thing I missed was not being able to ride a bike but this machine takes care of that. Who knows, maybe I'll meet you on the road with your future bike. The way I look at it, is you only go this way once and I'm not leaving any money to my kids, they can earn it themselves, it makes them appreciate it a lot more. Good luck.
