Re: What the BLAST is going on with the financial market?

Very Interesting post, Mike.

Wonder whether Diamonds will hold their investment potential, as well as precious-metals ????????

Hi Hornchurch. No, diamonds are NOT a great investment at all. The market value is 'set' by the DeBeers Corp that own all the diamond trading throughout the world. Say, you purchase a diamond worth 1000 GBP (USD $2000)... and try and sell it. You get get a faction of the value back. But the 'profit margin" on say a ounce of Gold is $925.00/oz. Most dealers will pay spot to $10-$15 back of the spot price of Gold and sell it for $10 over or so. Not alot of mark-up at all.

Re: What the BLAST is going on with the financial market?

I think I'll start investing in Beer!!!

Sold by the gallon it's more expensive that Oil, and it's a fully renewable resource. Can be made at home too. Plus to achieve Superior quality results a though quality system will need to be instituted.

Ooops!

Hmmn Timbo, not sure you'd wanna drink someones recycled-"renewable-resource"

Though, I WILL agree that certain brands taste that way, from new !!!!!!!!

the downfall started with the de-regulations of the 80's and trusting the wrong people. If you can't see that you are sheep and will continue to be suckered

Hey Mikey, how does Zinc fare with Gold for us diecast investors?
