Re: HELP PLEASE F-18 Advice

Hi Louie,

I personally don't think Sunstar will be a good choice. I had wanted to add a double-seater Marine hornet to complement my Dragon Top Gun F/A-18B and 3 F/A-18C, but gave up the idea when I saw the Sunstar ones. There are obvious gaps and the parts are not as refined as Dragon - looks more like to toy than a replica of the real thing.

Re: HELP PLEASE F-18 Advice

Louie,

I've had the Witty "E" and got rid of it. Never had the SS but have seen it up close and was not impressed. I do own a bunch of the Dragon Hornets, both legacy and Super Bugs and have to agree with all the guys who say the Dragon legacy Hornet is the best bet. I've 4 of them (Fist of the Fleet, Dragons, Dambuster and Top Gun), of the four Fist of the Fleet is my favorite. It's surprisingly short on fiddly bits for a DM and has fairly robust landing gear too!
Anyway, good luck and until someone else, ahem...CW, produces something better, my vote goes to Dragon Models.

Re: HELP PLEASE F-18 Advice

The Dragon F-18 is a fine bird. No gear issues at all for mine.

Anything for a weird life.
