Re: Oops an earthquake!!!!

MO , I said only a spoonful of whiskey, a full bottle of that stuff and you can sleep through Krakatoa erupting.

Wow! I didn't know you were that old, Jim!

Talking Re: Oops an earthquake!!!!

I was in Toronto at that time and it was felt there also..

Yeah -- I remember you mentioned you moved from the 'Big Smoke' to the 'Hammer' but I was foggy on the year. It seems ages ago now, when we had that chat on DAF as we were hanging out . . . waiting.

There is a fault line running through Lake Ontario near the Pickering Nuclear Power Station. The fault runs north south through NY State and Ontario but is not particularly threatening.

Whoa! That statement gives ME cause for concern. Mind you, given how these places are being administered -- well, say no more, squire.

Re: Oops an earthquake!!!!

Guys I just got to tell you this.

My brother was sat in bed reading when the quake struck, what the he said, its bl..dy Poltergeists I'm out of here and he grabbed his slipppers , went out onto the drive way and wouldn't go back in!!!!!!

It wasn't until a neighbour came out and told him it was a quake that he dared go back into the house!!!

His wife just laughed at him and stayed in bed reading!

I guess insanity runs in my family (and somewhat vivid imaginations)!

He explained after, that living in Yorkshire ,earthquakes were pretty low on his list of possible explanations!

God Bless America.

Jim, are you suggesting that poltergeists are pretty high on the list when living in Yorkshire ...?

That was no polergeist Jim. It was where Skunky blasted his way out from his Sub-Atlantic tunnel. He's after your collection of P40s ! ( Tank and Top are in on it too ! )
