Helicopter Carrying 3 U.S. Senators Makes Emergency Landing in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON — A helicopter carrying three senior U.S. senators has made an emergency landing in Afghanistan.
Sens. John Kerry, Joseph Biden and Chuck Hagel were aboard the aircraft., according to Jon Summers, a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. The lawmakers are on a trip this week that includes stops in India, Turkey and Pakistan.
Kerry and Biden are Democrats from Massachusetts and Delaware, respectively, and the Republican Hagel is from Nebraska

Gee Mr Kerry, I sure do hope they get some smart soldiers to come rescue you. But then your a former war hero and can lead the others to safety right? That is when you weren't on the war path like Ghengis Khan right jerko?

Is everyone sure the helo didn't make the emergency landing because it couldn't handle to the massive weight of their egos.....or the size of John F-ing Kerry's cranium? Heck, the pilots should've just dropped the dead weight off at the nearest Taliban controlled territory with a book full of cartoon Mohammeds then gone back for second run with Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi (in a Burkha of course) and Harry Reid for good measure!

Oh well, I could always dreammmm zzzzzzzzzzzzz...................

. The interesting thing is that such is the professionalism of the US military that they would indeed risk their lives in a rescue attempt if called upon to do so. When the sh*t hits the fan there is, thankfully, little time for personal politics or agendas as training and professionalism take over for the common cause of survival
