Re: tonight's eclipse

I stared at it and went blind.....

You blame that on starin' at the moon?

Well, both tank nit and Cav have reported, after extensive field testing, that the wives' tale to which you refer is absolutely not true.......

Re: tonight's eclipse

Great photo.

In Alpharetta, GA, about 20 miles north of Atlanta, I was able to catch glimpses of the eclipse during breaks in the cloud cover. Altought to me it was gray and not reddish orange as your picture and how the news said it would look.

Re: tonight's eclipse

Saw the same photo that no4mkit posted, though it was already about 3/4 out of it's dark side face. Cool event anyway....

no4mkit,
Wow, that is a fantastic picture. Thanks for posting it.

I got to see it briefly between the clouds last night. Neat stuff.

Re: tonight's eclipse

Had a good view as the skies are nice and clear as we don't have a walt dismal world down here ( mike you sure you don't work there? )

Nawww....I'm still pissed that took away Mr. Toads Wild Ride. I could never work at a place called The Mouse House.
