I have a close friend I want to sell this mint and rare set to. To be fair and to make it worth both our while I thought I would have the group price this model based on what they feel value,rarity and demand is. I would appreciate only serious honest votes please.

It seems like the going rate for this set is $125-$200 depending on the condition and what the person is willing to pay.. I can't say I have ever seen these go over $200, probably $175 on the average..

Despite the fact that some folks knock the 'Pathfinder' Lancaster in the set for it's 'innaccuracy' (those knowledgeable enough to know about that a/c's individual serial No & it's 'annular-cowlings' - as opposed to other Lanc's in the SAME Squadron; based at the very same time, at Downham-Market......) the set still fetches a fairly expensive price.......

I love mine & won't let it go........
(but I live LITERALLY just down the road from Downham-Market - where this a/c actually lived & flew from.......)

I've seen 'em go for £80 ($160 USD) but they don't come up TOO often..........

At the end of the day, it's worth WHAT someone is willing to pay, to have this (uncommon) set (?)

I picked one up of the Bay a few years back for $100.00 plus shipping, which was a bit because of the large box. I probably would not pay to much more for the set because of the extra shipping cost. Shipping cost have broke a few deals for me, there was a few times I was going to get the BBMF set but being so big the shipping cost put it out of my price limit.

I walked away from one at my local store about a year ago. Had 1 broken prop which could have been glued easily enough. Price, reduced to clear the set ....... $85.00!!!
Yeah I know I need to be slapped about for a while. I was not into Multiple copies of heavies and I already had a couple of Lancs.
Am I kicking myself now,.... Yeah.

So far you guys have confirmed my suspicions about the value. It is a rare set and while I cannot just give it away ( I have the addiction and need $$ for more "fixes") I want it to be good for myself and for it's eventual owner. Thank you to those who have answered the poll so far. I have been wanting to start an appraisal thread for some time. After all we are the market and from the 4 corners of the earth provide very helpful information to each other. Thanks again for the assistance. .

Corgi Lancasters are hot enough right now there is no way you'd get less than $130 on ebay for it Louie. The last couple I've seen have made the $150 mark, if yours is in mint/near mint shape you should not have a problem getting that much.

I'd give you $60 for the Mossie by itself.

I purchased new from a dealer in the US for $153, that was back in November. I won't be parting with it!!
