Re: Where is jim?

By the way, Jim, I am certain your doctor has advised you to avoid any heavy lifting, particularly heavy die-cast P-40s.

I would suggest getting them out of the house- I would be happy to provide stewardship over them- so as to avoid the temptation.

Yeah, but then how is he gonna move 'em? Naw, Jim, you leave those P-40s right where they are. Just avoid any temptation to pick 'em up. And don't look into Old Crow's eyes! He'll hypnotize ya and the next you know you'll be at the post office, holding a receipt for the box of P-40s you just shipped to the States. And your back will hurt from all that heavy lifting.

Nrrrm! Whoosh! Rat-tat-tat!

Yeah, but then how is he gonna move 'em?

Let's just say I have...certain connections.... and I will take care of everything.

After all, how else could I serve effectively as Skunky's campaign manager?

Jim is searching for a new direction... he wants change. Just trust me.....

Re: Where is jim?

Good on yer, Jim and Lorraine. I'm glad to hear that you are both on the mend, even though you seem to have got the fuzzy end of the lollipop, Jim.

When someone smashes into your side, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out whose fault it is. You did well ( and the other driver was lucky, and still has his teeth ) to hold Lorraine back, considering the state you were in.

Take it easy, and take care.

best wishes to both of you,

MoMo

Re: Where is jim?

Great to have you back Jim, we were getting somewhat concerned by your absence - MoMo has offered to find a fairly priced 4 X 4 for you and Lorraine, possibly even a Humvee ... .

Take care .

Re: Where is jim?

As much as I want you p 40's jim I would not want you hurt or dead and I was worried when you were not on here after a few days, (the wife does not stand to gain by killing ya) so gald to hear your ok. Beside with my luck you would come back and haunt me as I see dead people now ( don't tell anyone though I just need to take my pills) Is that the men in white coming for me again?? Top hat help me!!!!

Re: Where is jim?

Welcome back, Jim!!!! So glad to hear you and Lorraine are OK (more or less), and getting better.Skunky and I thought you'd perhaps gone somewhere without letting us know. (after all, who'd want to inform THIS bunch of one's plans!!!!) Guess I'll have to un re-arrange my diecast, cover the gaping hole I'd left for all of your P-40's I was going to get.

Be sure to post a pic of your new ATV, I'm sure MoMo will not want to miss it!

Re: Where is jim?

Thanks to all for the good wishes,
CC, I cannot think of a better place to convalesce than here on the Hanger with all you good people.
Captain , I am sure you will fill that space with plenty of WW1 stuff thats coming onto the diecast market.

Mo send me down that Hummer as soon as you can, Cardinal tells me you have one ready.
Thats just the type of auto that Lorraine loves, she may change her mind the first time she has to pay for the fill up at the petrol station!

Once again thanks to you all for lifting my cheeriness level (a bit of Lorraines psychology jargon there).

BTW wheres that durn Dragon P40?
Now that would cheer me up no end.

God Bless America.
