Re: One of my fav toys

Top Hat and Berkut,
I've got about a dozen 1/18th cars. Most Carousel 1 Indy cars snagged off Ebay. After a bad experience or two, I'm not going back that route.

Where do you all get your info on what is good, and where to get it inexpensively? Is there a particular dealer you purchase from who shows good pics and has decent prices? Thanks

Anything for a weird life.

Re: One of my fav toys

I hate to say it, but I find the best deals on ebay.

I have PMed you the name of the shop I go to, but you won't find any deals there. I use them to pre-order the stuff i know will be hot and therefore may be hard to find on the bay.

If you let me know what your interests are in 1:18 are, I can direct you to a proper board. I usually tend to buy models in bulk when they are sales. The only exception and the mainstay of my collection are Classic Carlectables models that I pre-order from Linpin Holdings Ltd. - Classic Carlectables Diecast, Guiloy Diecast, Racer (Emmegi) Slot Cars

Other than that, 1:18 dealers for the most part (ignore EXOTICAR) are just as good as their military models counterparts. There are too many to list, but here are the few ones that never let me down:

Scale18 - 1/18 Scale Diecast Cars - Home

Diecast, diecast models, diecast model cars, diecast cars, racing videos

Diecast cars, diecast model cars, diecast collectibles, diecastmuscle cars

DiecastAuto.com

Of course, a bargain could always be found at NASCAR Diecast, Diecast Auction, Nascar Diecast Collectibles, Nascar Diecast Cars, Nascar Diecast Cars for Sale, Nascar Diecast, Revell Diecast, Action Diecast, Team Caliber Diecast, Chase Authentics, JH Design Jackets, Nascar Toys "Get it Now" section.

Regards,

Sergey
