When it comes to 1:18 models, nobody on this forum beats me

Although, I'm into racing cars.

LOL

Name one, and I probably have it, or it has passed through my hands....... (except for the Holdens, as I'm not much into the Aussie rides)

This is worth a mention now --

Crisp close-up shot tip: For anyone (Tank Nut) taking close-ups. Set the camera to the little 'tulip' icon first. That is your built-in 'macro-lens'. Just about 99.9999% of the 'point-n-shoot' cameras sold in North America over the last 10 years have it (unless your camera has a picture of a cute little kitten on it - ). See image below (taken of my Nikon D50 USING my basic 4-year old point-n-shoot camera!) of the little 'tulip' icon. Unless you have a rock-steady hand, you MAY require a tripod to steady the camera! They only cost $20(+/-) at any camera chain-store location. Then use the built-in SELF-TIMER so you don't jiggle the camera on the tripod! A piece-of-cake.

Another little tip for getting your image to display nicely in the forum posts here. Crop your shot to show the detail THEN -- reduce the width of that cropped image by using a piece of photo editing software (I use Adobe Photoshop) to 580 pixels wide. BINGO! If your software does NOT allow you to select image sizes in pixels, find one that does -- freeware / shareware / trialware / WHAT-everware. (PowerPoint is NOT photo editing software -- contrary to what a lot of MY clients think )

(heh-heh) Yeah -- I was afraid of that. (I actually thought they may have been cereal box give-aways.) Oh well, I tried.

Yeah.....then shakes like Nicolas Cage in "Leaving Las Vegas", when stabbing at the trigger to take the shot !!!!!!!

(Tripod, what's a tripod ?)

Great tech'-lesson J.P.N.

I think even "Tank" might grasp the little 'Red-Arrow' ? (& poss', the 'Tulip-Icon' ?)

You may have to take him thru a "pix & arrows" lecture 1st ????????

Awaiting the next "thrilling-instalment" of "T.N." dollar-store pix
