Re: Jr. Takes Bud Shootout

I do miss NASCAR in the old days when it was called the Winston Cup. Drivers like Bobby Allison, Harry Gant, Dick Trickle (Sounds like a free clinic issue), the Bodine Brothers, and some of the other names of days gone by. I remember watching the races when the race cars still looked like their street counter part. I really liked NASCAR before it went PC, when drivers could really express what they were thinking at the moment (Maybe a little a little nonverbal communication too)

Even Rusty wasn't as bad as this guy...what a clown. He seems to have no idea how fortunate he is. He whines and trash talks everybody else for doing something and then the next week he goes out and pulls the exact same stunt and it's all okay because after all, he's Tony Stewart and he's "special".
I'm really surprised Gibbs hasn't knocked him out on his chubby bum.

Re: Jr. Takes Bud Shootout

Yeah, I don't regard Jeff as a crybaby at all. Tony Stewart is a dyed in the wool punk, though. Kevin Harvick is also a punk, but not as bad as Stewart. I think Jimmie Johnson's biggest problem is that he comes across as being light in the loafers...
Here was my problem with Rusty- if someone did something to him, he cried about conspiracies and that people were out to get him. If he got called out for doing the exact same thing to someone else, he would say "it's just racin'".
I'm glad he's gone.

Re: Jr. Takes Bud Shootout

The thing I don't like about guys like johnson is that they have ever thing given to them, and this guy never did any work on his cars or anything like that like some of the old school guys did, I would love to see johnson race for someone who has not as good race cars he may have five win, it just goes to show in nascar that if you have money and the right owner you can win and win but if you don't have the money to play your screwed. I bet jr wins a lot this year because of hendrick having good cars and money to throw at them!!
