Re: uk online diecast shops?

Welcome to the forum Kwicky. I recommend Flying-Tigers as I've used them on numerous occasions and found their service and knowledge excellent. I've had three large orders from them since Christmas.

I would also recommend flyingtigers as they are the only online shop that I've done business with. You can also try Modelzone.

Keep'em flying.

I also had bought 3-4 times planes from Flying Tigers but i cant recommend them. They always charge way to much for shipping to me. When i noticed them about the shipping costs i always havent got an answer from Flying Tigers received. For me i dont buy anymore from FT.

Try this one. Good prices it seems and the UK guys on the DAF say it's fine though they will not write me back.

A good site to check out is toybox100.bizland. I haven't bought anything from them, but their site is well maintained as far as diecast AFVs are concerned, and always up to date. They also appear to have a most comprehensive range of all the best diecast AFVs.

I suspect that their Aviation range is just as good.

cheers,

MoMo

I had the same problem Parsig so I ended up phoning them. The owner went out of his way to help however they do not take credit card or Paypal payments so too expensive for me to transfer NZD to GBP manually via his bank.. Also freight was a problem, I was quoted 67 Pounds to ship a Corgi Hurricane & 2 Mosquitos, all in 1/72.

The guy could not have been more helpful though & if I was in the UK 'i'd have no hesitation in using them.

Jumblies are an absolute pleasure to deal with & i'd also recommend Diecast Devon.

Flying Tigers are another dealer i'd recommend although to date I have not spent anything with them. Michael has gone out of his way to get the freight cost down for me on 4 models as unfortunately the postage calculator on his website tends to scare a few punters off i'm sure.

Another good UK dealer is Chris at Plane Crazy - speedy service and reasonable postage to this part of the world.

Re: uk online diecast shops?

I get most of my diecast of Ebay.
I have had no problems, and the prices seem to be always good. Just use common sense and buy from a respectable seller.

Used Modelzone once, quick delivery but packing was not that great to say the least.

Re: uk online diecast shops?

thanks everyone, thats been a great help,
ive noticed that in the UK we dont have anywhere near the selection from shops that they do in the US, flying mule has just about very plane you can imagine whereas im struggling to find a place that sells witty israeli f16's, century f-14 and dragon f15's all under one roof, looks like im gonna have to order 3 planes from 3 places, damn i wish that ANTICS hadnty messed me around so much, its alot easier and cheaper for shipping of you order everything from one place
