I am needing some input from the great forum members. I am in the midst of purchasing a Corgi 1/72 HE-111 for my collection from a friend of mine in CA. He is telling me it is going to cost $25 bucks to ship USPS priority. I was wondering if this sounded about right. He said he was putting it in a box filled with peanuts, not just wrapping the Corgi box in brown paper. I usually buy through e-retailers so don't pay attention to much to shipping since it is usually free.

You have failed to state where you are, which makes assisting you somewhat problematical. Why on earth do you not simply look it up yourself here:

USPS - The United States Postal Service (U.S. Postal Service)

If you find the result at variance with the seller you refer to, debate the charge with him.

Yup -- Buy Canadian (whenever you can) and support your neighbour.

Mmmmm . . . and were does that happen? Would that be a place 'we' already frequent, or is that a source you have built up an affiliation with that you would prefer not to divulge. Sounds very good, regardless.
