Take a look at this backyard

Walters Farm by Rodney Williams

Crying shame what happens to old aircraft. There must be dozens of farms like this all over the continent.

That's a P-51K inside the B-36 and a good looking Ohio ANG F-86 .... etc. etc. etc.

Re: Take a look at this backyard

You know it's been a while since the last update .....I wonder if it's all still there ?
I would hope at least some of it was bought so it can go into a museum.

I met Rodney Williams (guy pictured to the right) many times during the late 80's IPMS contest in San Jose and Milpitas, CA show. He's a very talented worldclass modeler.

Surely there are aircraft there that could be restored to flying status too? Look at the lenghts they went too with Glacier Girl for example. Twin Mustang would be very cool.

What a shame... someone should bring that home and restore it.

Re: Take a look at this backyard

Hey All

Most of the restoreable planes have been sold . Not to much is left there.. Love it or hate it Walter Soplata did a helluva job with what he had to save some of those rare planes..
