No surprise with this guy...

This isn't exactly buyer/seller feedback so I thougth this was a good place for it so the good deed didn't go unnoticed. Feel free to move is necessary Mr. Admins.

While it shouldn't surprise anyone Parsig9 has pulled off yet another good deed. Drew has known for some time I was trying to track down an Armor/FM Bf-109 "Trautloft" at a reasonable price - all based on an offhand comment I had made once. Using his well-honed skills of Ebay searching Drew has sent me links from time to time but they usually went a bit higher than I wanted to pay. Last night I received a PM from Drew giving me a lead on one on Ebay that was slightly incorrect in its listing and that ended in just a few hours. Not only did Drew notify me of the listing he said if I didn't let him know I had received the message he would go ahead and pick it up and I could buy it from him or not if I was no longer interested. I ended up winning the model for $70 shipped.

We have a great forum because of guys like Parsig. I don't know how many folks would offer to pick up a model for someone else but I have seen it many times on this forum and it makes this place all the more fantastic as a place to hang out. I have begun to focus more on toy soldiers of late - not abandoning aircraft and armor just becoming more selective as space becomes an issue - but it is guys like Drew that guarantee I'll always stick around regardless of my collecting focus.

Thanks again, Drew. You are a top-notch individual!

Great story, and deeds, guys.

I put Black 6 and Cruver Collector in that category as well.

Thumbs up Re: No surprise with this guy...

It's all these small, unselfish acts that make this place a very civilized and decent venue to hang out in. If I had a wish, it would to be able to meet all of you guys -- in the same room -- say for, perhaps a few beers!

Yeah -- I think that really would be super. What a swell bunch.

Re: No surprise with this guy...

It is stories like that which make me really love this place. I really hope to meet many of you in the future. It was great to be standing under the wing of Glacier Girl at the Gathering of Mustangs and talk with some of you.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: No surprise with this guy...

I can't say anything but great things about everyone in this forum. I have gotten great advice, great deals, and great laughs for the past 10 months. Sure your guys have cost me a lot of $, but I think it was well worth it.
