I've been on the hunt for a nintendo wii for the last week or so and it just makes me mad that I want it for myself but people manage to buy multiple ones just to buy them on ebay and jack the price up...I'm sorry but I just find that ridiculous Anyone luck into buying one?

If you have a Gamestop in your area, you can check with them and they can tell you when they come in, then just hit the store that morning and get one..

where are you at? they are not too hard to get here in california. i got one for my nephew around october. I got it at Fry's and they seemed to have plenty. i don't know if things have changed. if you want, i can check to see if they have some and i can buy and ship it for you. granted, you have to pay for it all. let me know.

Yup, I heard that worked for a few people -- see if you can pre-buy one there.... Also, go to your local best buy on a Sunday an hour or so before it opens and you could luck out.

I've not seen one in a store since April/may of last year...

As for people getting multiples... most places give out tickets good for only one purchase, they just keep waiting in line I guess

In my case tween star Hannah Montana is coming to town and tickets soldout before I had a chance to purchase any good seats. Now I have to pay a premium to the people who did get a chance to purchase these tickets. Tyler I know your anger.

I called 4 gamestops in my area and not one of them would let me pre-buy one. I ended up just buying a bundle pack off of thier website. Hope you luck into tickets at a reasonable price for Kirk I've seen how ridiculous those prices have got. Thanks for the offer propellerhead!

Even though Gamestop gets shipments often, they don't get very many Wiis. I think you might have better luck at Walmart, Target, Circuit City or Best Buy. I got REALLY lucky and found one at the BX the week before Christmas, but that may not be an option for you...
