Re: My Office....

The Slash figurine really ties the room together.

Yes! I think Slash is somehow the epicenter of where Hard rock/Metal meets Historic Military aviation.....

Give me about a year and I can probably come up with enough intellectual masturbation (or read B.S.) to develop that into an "academic" essay. slash....propellars "slashing"...screaming engines/guitars..... Yeah give me some time, I'm working on it.

Take care,

Re: My Office....

Looks great -- love all the prints! But where's the diecast

You missed the 8 Corgi Showcase planes?????

All the GOOD diecast is at home - on shelves - where, however I can take them with me around the house or sit them on the coffee table while watching TV. Where I can pick them up and actually "play" with them in private - with only my wife and children making fun of me.

I don't think I want my co-workers and students to have an image of me sitting in my office with a 1/72 Corsair in hand making a diving, strafing run on my stapler.

Take care,

Yeah, I think you're probably safer with the framed "Sticky Fingers" album so you don't freak out any students.

You know I must think that is a great album. Otherwise why would I have some dude's crotch shot on my office wall? For that one, the music quality trumps the album cover.

I REALLY want to put The Ohio Players album "Fire" in a frame on my office wall. My wife REALLY had a strong opinion on that one - too much sexuality to display with students. But man....those Ohio Player album covers were classic AND they opened for a much larger view. "Honey; Gold; etc....

Other album I had - but wouldn't put up - Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love. Vince Neil's leather clad crotch on my wall - not my thing - but when that album came out, I thought it sounded great.

Take care,

Re: My Office....

Man, now that is an office I could work out of.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
