My Office....

In Oct. I posted that a friend/member of my Church/WWII Vet, Dauntless pilot had passed away.

Last Sunday (after service) I was helping his wife unload some of his clothes (from her van) that she was donating to a homeless shelter. Along with the cloths, she had brought 4 framed aviation art prints with her. She told me she had brought them for me because she knew I'd truly appreciate them - but if I didn't have room for them, she would pass them on to someone else.

My reply: "OH, I HAVE ROOM! I'll hang them in my office."

Here are the pics. As well as what the rest of my office looks like. It def. gives you all a glimpse into my personality.

THAT was very intentional. How could I post a pic of my office without having The Model Hangar up on the monitor?!

Thanks for the compliment(s).

Take care,

Re: My Office....

Very cool theme, Doug! You're missing the McFarlane rocker figure from The Doors? Or how about Sargeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band?

Very nice and eccecletic selection. Love all the rock posters.

Re: My Office....

The Slash figurine really ties the room together.

Thumbs up Re: My Office....

I very much like the close up picture of the Home page of The MH II that is on your desk.

Yeh - I missed that Jim Morrison figure. I'm not sure what was going on in my life at the time. That's one figure I'd like to go back and get - the AC/DC Angus Young figure I could live with or without. Can't remember the brand - but what I REALLY need is the Johnny Cash figure that was out awhile back (I did get one of those for my father).

Sgt Peppers? I mean...the Beatles were.are great - I haven't seen those figures. I'll have to look, but I'm not sure the Beatles really "did it" for me vs. other more bluesy/soulful bands. I do own several of the Beatles albums - thought about framing Sgt Peppers or Magical Mystery tour......maybe I'll rotate album in those frames sometime.

Take care,
