I saw this trailer before Cloverfield this last weekend. It's great! Completely had me hankering for the film.

Cloverfield was pretty good as well, but I did spend the first ten minutes of the film longing to see this trailer again. Thanks for posting it.

I too saw "Cloverfield" this weekend, and well....it stinks!!! I had terrible migrane headaches after watching it. I guess monster movies don't do it for me anymore.

Since Cloverfield is also a J.J. Abrams flick, I hope he's not going to blow it with the new Star Trek movie as well?!!

I saw this preview too.. Cloverfield could have been a little better i think ...The guy holding the Cam recorder needed to pay "attention" to things in that movie...I agree i hope JJ does better with the new
Star Trek movie...

That teaser trailer was way cool. But I've heard rumors that some new ideas are being "invented"
for this flick--that the Enterprise was constructed in Area 51, and that Kirk was a terrible student
that had to cheat his way through Star Fleet Academy. I hate this kind of b.s. Stay true to the
story. IMHO these kinds of changes are what made the LOTR movies less than they could have
been. Don't do it to Kirk, Spock, Bones, et al, too.

Trailer does look great though. Hopefully the rumours about the plotline are just rumours, the product of s**t-disturbing geeks and/or geek-haters.

Jerry Goldsmith who scored music for many Star Trek movies, also composed an extremely spine-chilling soundtrack for the movie "The Blue Max" and I always put it on to lift my spirits up!
