Re: What not to say to your wife

Gentlemen these posts reminded me of a discussion that took place some time ago at a family gathering.
A heated discussion about men and their hobbies.
The ladies were having a go at the men saying that men never grew up and still played with toys, the only difference being that the toys were more expensive and bigger as the men got older.
My brother jumped in and had a real go at them, you women have no concept of male bonding, you women just dont bond together like we men do.
Neither do you understand the idea of having serious hobbies like men do.

Needless to say that caused uproar and a much heated though light hearted debate ensued.
My brother bless him stuck to his guns although under heavy fire, its true he said, you tell me of any woman that is interested in history!
Tell me who amongst you collect anything that has any meaning! How many of you go fishing or hunting? (huh).

Women just dont think like us , when did women meet up for a beer or two and discuss what going on in the world?
The best you lot can do is to talk about what the lastest cleaning products are or who is doing what to whom or the latest goings on in the soaps.

We men bond as a group and support each other and exchange meaningful views and opinions about all kinds of things.

The battle raged to and fro for some time until the women decided to fight dirty and threaten to remove all our privileges (and parts of our anatomy).

What do you folks think about the points he made , would you agree?

He is right!!

Re: What not to say to your wife

A friend of mine has a desktop picture that he got from Miller Beer's website. It says:

She told me I had to stop spending so much on beer.

Then I found her spending $70 on make-up.

I told her to stop spending so much on make-up.

She said she needed it to make herself look pretty for me.

I told her that was what the beer was for.

I don't think she's coming back.

I'm glad you clarified that, Nimrod. Skunky mentioned that he was getting ready to chat you up.....

I must be lucky. Well, I KNOW I am lucky. My wife actually likes to camp and hike and float in a canoe on a river...and fish and she can do pretty darn good with a revolver...(still needs to work on her automatic skills, though). She's also run the course at Skip Barber...though she did end up in the weeds in turn 8 at Gateway... Oh well, at least she didn't scratch the paint....

And she's pretty enough to make Cav forget about jim's wife... (Oh, my...did I just say that...?)

Cruel but appropriate!!! I wished I had known that one twenty years ago!!!

Re: What not to say to your wife

Shawn, it takes some personal courage, fortified with strong drink, to frequent the bars off-post, let alone tell a woman something like that!

Why let them get the last word? There are three types of women near a post. Those that were born there, those brought there, and those left there.
