Too bad it is a British Lysander Variant, with most of the guns in back it ought to be French.

Re: Most Ugly Aircraft

The Russians also had an ugly bomber that looked like a flying diesel locomotive.

For this generation it has to be the "can't fly without a computer" F-117 Stealth.

I can't find anything aesthetically redeeming in this aircraft from ANY angle, sorry.

After this thread runs it's course let us vote in a poll on the top 10.

Re: Most Ugly Aircraft

Kelly Johnson....amateur! Willy Messerschmitt....idiot! Mikoyan Gurevich....losers!

Focus your attention on the pinnacle of 1960's/70's aeronautical engineering. BEHOLD..... the awesome Monogram Air Farce X-87 Flap Jack!

This "beauty" was crapped out by Skunky of Skunky Werks...not to be confused with the more successful Lockheed Skunk Works.

The pictures were taken by and are the property of Chris Lemke and fantasticplastic.

Had this F-ugly Duckling when I was a kid. Sure wish I still had it!
