First, I am assuming that we are talking WW2 stuff here, yes? Next -- I really REALLY don't want to offend anyone, but I just find Russian aircraft to look like 'woofers'. (Please accept my utmost apologies if you happen to like them).

My all-time fave 'Ugger' (short of that Bolo shown earlier!) is this 'mutt', the Ilyushin DB-3 bomber:



I really find this thing gawd-awful GROSS! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I fancy a lot of RAF aircraft that some would say look like dogs too, like the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley, so I guess we are even, eh?

Ya' know, I find just about every airframe interesting. While some are more beautiful than others, I can't call any airframe "ugly". Maybe "odd" would be a better term. Heck, if it flies, it is pretty marvelous... no?
