Re: My thoughts on collecting in 2008

You got it, Cap....To start off with, howz about a few super-nice Corgi F-4Js?.....These are going quick and will soon be very hard to find. The value of these is certain to soar out of this world!...Act now or regret it later.....

(Rush, you were reading my mind again, weren't ya?)

Never mind those Skunky, what about all those Corgi Mustangs I saw stashed under your table?

God Bless America.

Re: My thoughts on collecting in 2008

Its funny. Every year we state that next year can't get better than last year, its a golden age for collecting so enjoy it while you can....

Then we realize that next year really WILL be better. I love this hobby....

Anything for a weird life.

Yes, I wish 2008 would just hurry up and get over with so we can see what awesome stuff we'll have in 2009....

Those things killed more pilots in training than were killed by the enemy a rate of about 4 to 1 if my memory is working correctly

But what do you expect of a plane held together with string and cloth?

Jim, I ain't asking you or Skunky to FLY them, just COLLECT them!

Re: My thoughts on collecting in 2008

Ya know what, Cap...I do like the WW I stuff alright, but for some reason stick and fabric aircraft rendered in diecast metal just seemed a bit strange to me....Help me to get past that phobia,...perhaps you could send me a few examples of yours to "warm up to"?..

Re: My thoughts on collecting in 2008

Well, my friend, the MP stuff REALLY looks like metal, but the Carousel and Matchbox don't, and based upon someone else's review of their Corgi WW I aircraft, I would guess they do not either.

As far as my sending you one of my Carousel, or "harder to find now" Matchbox, FORGETABOUTIT.
