Re: 1:48 Takara Japanese Zero

Just got the Zero today. It comes in five boxes and the detail looks fantastic. Have not yet decided how I am going to put it together but here is a photo of the detail in the cockpit and engine.

Re: 1:48 Takara Japanese Zero

This one looks cool.

Just to clarify, I think you guys are talking about 2 different companies. Some one correct me if I'm wrong. Takara makes this 1/48 zero. They also make a line of 1/144 airplanes which I think are great.

Targa makes a 1/48 tiger tank and they also make a 1/144 u-boat. I have both of these and they are equally awsome. The uboat is impressive. It even includes crew figures (though they are just painted grey).

You are quite correct. The Zero and Tiger have been sitting on my dining room table since they arrived. I have really got to put them together. I am in absolute shock that my wife has not said a word about the clutter.
