Question about Wedell Williams Gilmore RL kit.

Cruver Collector, I just recently purchased the 1/32nd Wedell Williams Gilmore Red Lion Model Kit from Motormint.com and was wondering if the thick bracing wires are...well "thick" and out of scale? It certainly looks that way to my eyes. What's your opinion? Thank you for any help.

They are on the thick side. There are not many local hobby shops that still carry some of the finer gauge spring steel or music wire, but Penn Valley Hobby Center has some .015 x 36" (also .020-.032 guage wire) music wire that might be a suitable replacement. I have used Penn Valley in the past and have received good service from them. The music wire is fairly cheap and runs at .38 cents for a 36" in piece of wire.
