WW2 air to air kill with rockets?

I've been helping the boy with is PS3 Blazing Angels game and enjoy using the rockets in the air to air fight. But it got me wondering, were there any air to air kills using them. I think the Germans used them on bombers?

I came across an account of 5 Soviet Polikarpov I-16s firing RS-82 unguided air to air rockets at flight of Japanese fighters downing two (Probably mostly luck). Action took place during the Battle of Khalkhin Gol August 20th 1939. I do believe this was the first use of air to air unguided rockets.

For sure they were used against bomber formations too, with I think minimal success (spray and pray method...)?

As for say a Typhoon unloading its rack on a FW... dunno... wouldn't suprise me though if there's an account or two.

Unguided air-to-air rockets were used by the French, and others, in WW I to down observation ballons.

Yep, forgot about the Nieuports with rockets on the wing struts (Had the old Auroura kit of this one as a kid). Have to rephrase it to first air-to-air WWII rocket victories.
