B 17 reconstruction

There is a B 17 undergoing reconstruction in Urbana, Ohio. The are requesting volunteers, and welcome visitors. The website is: B-17G Flying Fortress Reconstruction Project - Home.

I'm heading out there today. I'll let you know how it goes later.

Re: B 17 reconstruction

That is a great project and nice people. Go get your hands dirty bud. That is going to be a great restoration, as they are really going into somegreat detail work.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I will...but, as it turns out, not today. Apparently, they do not keep up with their website....they were not open today.

Re: B 17 reconstruction

I'd love to get involved in a project like that -- but that's a bit of commute!
