I can understand that, sometimes a bird catches our eye and we are hooked, its a bit like real life, I have lots of Warhawks in my collection and one very big Warhawk that keeps her beady eye on me!

I have 16 Corsairs and 12 P-40s. These are closely followed by 10 P-51 Mustangs.

Can NEVER have too many Corsairs or P-40s!

Well, I have nearly every Corgi E version which is most of it. Maybe 3 Witty ones, half a dozen Dragon, half a dozen 21st C. in 1/32 and 2 Corgi 1/32


And then Gemini makes them so nice.... and I have 3 or 4 Franklin Mint ones. It's really the Gemini ones that put me over the edge (assuming 30 is not over already)

15 Spitfires - all 1:72 (1 Dragon; 1 Gemini; 2 Matchbox; 11 Corgi)

12 Corsairs - all 1:72 ( 3 FOV; 2 Matchbox; 7 Corgi).....However, I just picked up 2 more on Ebay and they are in transit: 1 Matchbox; 1 Corgi - which will bring the total corsairs to 14.)

9 P-40's - all 1:72 (1 FOV; 3 Matchbox; 5 Corgi)


I don't think I intentionally collect any one particular plane - I tend to buy what I like AND what I can get at a good price. Tuesday Morning Corgi waves and good prices have naturally lead to Spits and Corsairs dominating my collection. But I DO like both those planes!!! - historically and aesthetically.
