Talking Re: Of all the planes you guys have.....

All of my WW II aircraft are variety mix with no real duplicates, except in a few cases. I have 2 Lancasters, but it is my Dams Lanc that is really the showpiece, unlike my 'S-Sugar' which is stored away. (What a disappointment for such a great bomber -- oh well, first release and all). I should point out I am VERY challenged display-space wise, so I have taken to rotational 'themes', which offers little duplication.

If I HAD the luxury of duplicates, it would likely be every Hawker Hurricane Corgi makes. They really got that one nailed! Currently, I covet my Bader Hurricane from the legends series. I also am very fond of their new Halifax Mk II rendering, so I wouldn't mind a few more of those -- specifically the Canadian 405 Squadron "Ruhr Valley Express" and perhaps a Mk I or II flown by Leonard Cheshire.

Because I also collect their 1:144 propliners, I also have a number of their Bristol Britannias -- mainly BOAC in every type. My prize is my Canadian Pacific Airlines one. Of that specific model I have one one display and 2 more in storage -- NEVER OPENED!

2008 will be an interesting year for me, for sure!

For me a total of 25 Me 109 from Corgi in 1/32 + 1/72 and Gemini Aces 1/72.

Re: Of all the planes you guys have.....

Surprised myself!

41 109s
28 Spitfires
25 190s
24 Mustangs
14 Hurricanes
10 Thunderbolts

Most Jets of 1 type
5 F-86 Sabres from Corgi. Love 'em

These make up half my collection or so. The rest are bombers, navy planes and jets of various sorts.
