Saab Viggen

Think one of these Double Delta Wing Birds will ever be made in 1/72 scale?

A very slim chance but you never know. I would love to see Sweden's finest - Draken, Viggen and a Gripen be made as well!

I built a 1:48 Viggen years ago. Since that time, I have been in love with SAAB jets and would love to see all three of the above made in diecast! But, sadly, like fly, I think it is a slim chance it will happen.

Re: Saab Viggen

Its a shame one of the companies in this business can not figure out a way to make a limited run of 750 or less, or for that matter how about 4 runs of 750 each significantly different markings, Involve the MFG of the real plane so you have a built in customer base of however many employees they have and then the collector market, seems to me they could easily sell a few thousand, I guess the catch is you need to be able to sell 5000 to 10,000 to make a new model pay off? Also gotta keep the price in the $45.00 retail range in my opinion.

A shame cause this is a cool looking bird. I did not know it even existed but based on its looks and the fact it is a real plane it would be cool to own.
