Tank nut, I've never been there (may have to correct that if I have the chance), but there is a small museum with a P 39 hanging from the ceiling in Buffalo, NY, at the Naval Midshipmen's yard (or something like that). They have a couple of cruisers and a WW II era sub you can tour. I assume you can tour them in the winter, I was there in the summer.
